Success in Turkey

We accepted the challenge of transforming the image of Turkey through designing an innovative pilot program to increase tourism. The result – we proved the efficacy of our marketing approach and strategy with positive, measurable impact. The stated mandate in Turkey’s 2033 Tourism Strategy is to “enhance the market share and position (of Turkey) … using effective Public Relations tools.”

We presented the country in a new light, creating an image of sustainability, safety and hospitality. We designed an effective public relations campaign resulting in dozens of stories that appeared worldwide. We showcased Turkey’s vast array of important antiquities and historical sites, dramatically improving the Country’s image as a tourist destination and measurably increasing tourist activity. GTA implemented their pilot programs incorporating their prodigious approach to the US market. As a result, we increased market share, expanded our tourist delegations and fulfilled the goals of our multi-media Marketing and Public Relations Plan as accepted by the Turkish government.
