Success in Lebanon

As the agency of choice for Lebanon’s Ministry of Tourism for earned media, the Unique Image Team built a program designed to counter negative publicity and improve public understanding of actual life in Lebanon. We isolated problem areas and featured parts of the country that were safe and desirable for the average tourist. Despite potential detractors, we created a vibrant hub for journalists to experience the country in all its grandeur. We sponsored tours to important historical sites and traditional areas of religious interest as well as modern five star hotels, vibrant nightclubs and spas prepared to compete with the best anywhere in the world.

Drawing upon personal experience and the invaluable input of focus groups, we opened a multiplicity of media channels and presented an entirely new and refreshing perspective for US travelers to consider. As a company with a purpose and committed to fomenting change, we worked with various NGO’s to create a series of philanthropic campaigns in the country. Our d voluntourism programs stand as an international example of what can be accomplished through charitable endeavors. Incorporating use of print media, on-line sources and person to person communication, positive media exposure increased by over 300% with a concomitant increase in tourist activity.
