Success in Syria

In 2010 we proved that nothing is impossible. We initiated the first positive media campaign for the country with incredibly positive results. Through our combined efforts, and after an intensive workshop effort with western media, we helped convince the US State Department to lift its travel warnings for Syria.

Unique Image and its GTA professionals led the first North American Press Delegation to Syria. This culminated in our agency receiving the coveted Silk Road Festival Agency of the Year Award due to a 90% increase in tourist traffic in 2009 and rising to over 260% in 2010. Tourists arrived in record numbers and spent lavishly in Syria’s five star resorts including the Four Seasons as well as in Syria’s long line of luxurious restaurants and boutiques. News coverage included online sources as well as major print sources such as the New York Times, More Magazine and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
